  2. Babies are one week old  :-)
Its been a long hard week  :-( each day is very scary just in case we lose another baby :-( don't think my heart could take the loss of another :-(  the babies are doing very well putting on weight, Tiffany is being a good mummy now after the initial shock of giving birth! Today eyes are starting to open  :-)  its a beautiful experience to watch our babies grow hour by hour to watch them develop :-) I love their little fat tummies their purfect little ears ;-) its soo exciting to watch Miracle grow and develop we are not sure of her colour yet maybe a Blue Mink we have been told :-) soo exciting as soon as she is 4 weeks old we will DNA test her :-) babies stay strong keep growing into beautiful little bengals, you are all sooo very precious  :-)  Love you all  xx
  3. Baby Spirit
Baby Spirit was born breech early hours of Friday morning Feb 4th Tiffanys and Romeos very first litter together. He was the first to be born, his head was stuck inside Tiffany for 10 whole minutes :-( finally she passed him, not breathing  :-(  it took me a little while to revive him but i did, he was only 52g very very tiny :-( our smallest baby to date, he was very weak from the start from his very traumatic birth, he fed little and often from Tiffany, the vet adviced us to top him up to with baby milk, this we did and he loved it, we soon started to bond with him, he sounded just like Dinky :-) he was Dinky all over again :-) I didn't expect him to last into Saturday but he did :-) when i returned from the vets after taking Mystery, I returned home to an odd sound coming from the kittening room, I ran up the stairs it was him, baby Spirit, he was in the corner all on his own freezing cold, stone cold, I wrapped him in a heat pad and put him down my top between my boobs to warm him up, I phoned the vet who said he had gone into shock :-( it took me 6-7 hours to warm him up, we fed him sugar solution prescribed by the vet, when he was warm we put him back with Tiffany and he fed well from her, a couple of hours later he got cold again :-( so back he went down my top in between my boobs to keep warm, we gave him more sugar solution which then gave him diarrhea, I knew then he wouldn't make it  :-(((  He passed away at 4.30am Sunday morning at only 2 days old he was with his mum and sisters. the pain is just unreal, we bonded with him we will never know what colour he was, maybe a silver/snow we loved his little puffy whisker pads his purfect face, his little nose, we named him Spirit because he was born with a fighting Spirit.
RIP our baby bengal boy loved from the moment you were conceived always remembered, always loved, play safe at Rainbow Bridge with your baby brother Mystery.
The pain for me is just unreal, it hurts so bad :-( it hurt like hell when we have lost a baby at birth, which we have twice but to lose a baby a day old then a baby at 2 days old is just unbelievable.
Love you always our bengal baby boys  xxxxx
Love us all at Summerspride Bengals Julie & Andy xx
  4. On Friday evening of the 4th Feb the day the babies were born Tiffany got very distressed and started to move her babies from the birthing box that was in the sturi pen, she moved them into bed with me then into the litter tray, I moved them back into the birthing box in the sturdi pen as the litter tray was not the cleanest place for them to be and it was cold, this carried on for a few hours through the night, Tiffany being a new mum was not carrying the babies very well, I was very scared one would get damaged :-( I phoned several vets for advice, its very normal behavior for a new mum to do this, its a big shock to the system giving birth to all these babies, by 6.am I started to get upset, so locked Tiffany and all the babies in the sturdi pen for safety I then came down stairs and just cried  :-(  I was so very tired. At 7.30am I returned to the kittening room and after a little while I noticed baby number 4 was not quite right  :-(  i think Tiffany had damaged him while moving him, I can not be 100% sure though, I phoned the vets several times as he was fading fast, at 12. noon I took him to the vets, he was given fluids and glucose under the skin, his heart rate was very slow, on the way home from the vet he passed away  :-((((  he was down my top to keep warm.  the pain is unreal, to lose a baby a day old, you expect it during the birthing process but not the next day :-( so very sad, he was the biggest in the litter at 85g feeding well, we have named him Mystery as we will never know what he would have become  :-(((  our hearts breaks  :-((((
RIP  our little bengal baby boy loved from the moment you were conceived, we will always remember your short life.
